Before proceeding with your purchase of a ticket to GSM or visiting GSM, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. Please do not make a purchase or attend GSM unless you agree, in full, to all the Terms and Conditions below.
1. General and Agreement
a. Kardinia Park Stadium Trust (ABN 31 318 314 795) owns and operates Geelong Sports Museum at GMHBA Stadium (“GSM”) as well as the website at www.geelongsportsmuseum.vic.gov.au (“GSM Website”).
b. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to any purchase or receipt of Tickets to GSM made on or after 1 February 2024 and should be read in conjunction with the GSM Terms and Conditions of Entry available at www.geelongsportsmuseum.vic.gov.au and Kardinia Park Stadium Trust’s (“KPST’s”) Conditions of Entry available at https://www.kardiniapark.vic.gov.au/conditions-of-entry/.
c. By purchasing an admission ticket from KPST, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which relate to both the sale of admission tickets and attendance at GSM, and apply to both the original purchaser or recipient of the Ticket and any subsequent admission ticketholders.

2. Variation to Ticketing Terms and Conditions
KPST may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated. If you do not agree with any revised version of the Terms and Conditions, or if you cannot comply with them, then you must not make a purchase.
3. Ticket Pricing and Payment
a. Ticket prices quoted by us are in Australian dollars and include GST. Your ticket is a tax invoice.
b. All ticket purchases are non-refundable and are not able to be exchanged, except as required by law.
c. All ticket purchases are secured only upon full payment being received.
d. Details of all successful and completed ticket purchase orders are sent to the purchaser at the details provided in accordance with our instructions (in the form of a confirmation page or email) with a confirmation number. If you do not receive a confirmation number after submitting payment information, or if you experience an error message or service interruption after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm with KPST whether or not your order has been placed. KPST will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assumed that an order was not placed because you failed to receive confirmation.
e. Subject to applicable laws, KPST reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule and/or vary advertised programs, prices or capacity, and this will not give rise to or entitle you to any right to a partial or full refund or exchange of a purchased admission ticket except as otherwise determined by KPST.
f. You will not be entitled to any partial or full refund or credit if (i) the price you paid for a ticket was at any time before you purchased your ticket less than the price you paid; or (ii) the price of any other ticket is subsequently reduced after you purchase your ticket.
g. A transaction fee may apply to your ticket purchase.
h. You warrant that you have the authority to make payment for your ticket and that you own/hold or have express permission of the owner/holder of the debit card, credit card or other payment facility used to purchase the ticket.
4. Concession and Companion Card Tickets
Concession will apply to visitors who hold a valid concession card at the date of entry to GSM. Identification and the relevant concession card must be provided upon entry. This includes:
•Australian senior concession card
•Australian Health Care Card
•Australian student card
•Carer Card
•Veterans Affairs Card
•Companion Card holders can bring their attendant free of charge. Companion Card must be presented at the ticket counter.
5. Availability
a. All ticket purchases are subject to availability and capacity limits of GSM.
b. KPST reserves the right to restrict availability of ticket sales, in line with capacity limits of the GSM, open times, days, venue hirer requirements for events or any other consideration deemed appropriate by KPST, including considerations relating to safety and/or security.
c. Group bookings of 10 or more visitors (including schools, holiday programs and any other group bookings) are subject to availability and additional conditions may apply. Any amendments, including changes to visitor numbers for group bookings, must be made at least 3 business days prior to the date booked.
6. Cancellation, Opening Hours, Rescheduling and Refunds
a. Tickets are for single admission only on the booking date selected and booked, subject to entry cut off and closing times.
b. Typically, closing times on days where GSM is open will be 4:30pm, subject to variation determined by GSM staff in their discretion. GSM reserves the right to deny entry to ticket holders within 30 minutes of closing time or such other period deemed appropriate by GSM staff and to ensure patrons are no longer within the GSM immediately prior to closing time.
c. It is the responsibility of the purchaser / ticket holder to ensure the booking date and ticket type are valid and are presented within the opening hours of the GSM. Expired / unused tickets or incorrect ticket types will not be refunded.
d. Refunds will not be provided where entry into the GSM is denied or ejection occurs in accordance with the GSM Terms and Conditions of Entry, any applicable laws or KPST’s Conditions of Entry.
e. Where a session or event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated and you purchased a valid ticket for the relevant time/event/location, you may be entitled to a refund. In such event, to the extent permitted by law, KPST is not liable to refund to you any amount beyond the face value of the ticket.
f. KPST will not reimburse you for ancillary, related or auxiliary expenses (such as the cost of travel, car-parking, child-care, storage and/or accommodation) or other consequential loss suffered by you in connection with your attendance or non-attendance at GSM or at a session or event at GSM.
g. Where a Group Booking is cancelled, all payments that have been made against that booking received by KPST will be credited towards any future booking/s, however refunds are not available.
7. Voluntary Assumption of Risk
a. You enter GSM at your own risk.
b. You understand that attendance at GSM may carry with it certain dangers, including the risk of injury to you and/or those in your care, and damage to you, those in your care or to your or their property.
c. By attending GSM, you accept the risk of damage and loss (including personal damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) howsoever arising (including by negligence or wilful misconduct). This includes damage or loss caused by the acts or omissions of KPST, GSM staff, other attendees and/or ticketholders, visitors, guests and agents of KPST or GSM.
8. No Scalping or other unauthorised sales
a. Tickets must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium or packaged, resold or otherwise offered for or in connection with advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes (including competitions) without KPST’s prior written consent, which may be withheld in its absolute discretion. If a ticket is sold or used in contravention of this condition, the ticket may be seized or cancelled without notice, refund or exchange and the bearer of the ticket may be denied admission.
b. Entry may be refused if GSM staff reasonably believe that an admission ticket is not authentic or valid, including because the ticket has been damaged or defaced, or has not been purchased from KPST or other authorised points of sale.
9. Errors
a. While KPST tries to ensure that admission tickets are correctly priced and only available for sale when intended, errors may occur. KPST may cancel an order made as a result of any such error. In the case of a pricing error, KPST will endeavour to contact you to give you the option of purchasing the admission ticket at the correct price.
b. If an error on your behalf results in KPST reprocessing the ticket transaction at your request, KPST may charge to you the actual costs incurred in reprocessing the ticket transaction, including any chargeback or postage fees charged to KPST by any third party.
10. Privacy and Data Collection
KPST is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information, in line with our Privacy Policy and obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia) and Information Privacy Principles contained in the Victorian Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic). 11. Complaint Handling Procedure
Disclosures of improper conduct or detrimental action by KPST or any of its employees and/or officers may be made to the following officer:

a. These Terms and Conditions and the provision of the Services to the purchaser are governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia, without reference to principles of conflict of laws.
b. If any part of these Terms and Conditons is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it will be disregarded to the extent of its invalidity and the remainder of these Terms and Conditons will remain in full force and effect.
