Can I purchase tickets at the door? 
Yes, tickets can be purchased at the door or online.
Do Cats Members get a discount? 
Geelong Sports Museum does not offer a discount to Geelong Football Club (GFC)
members. Cats’ fans are welcome to visit however the Museum is managed by Kardinia
Park Stadium Trust and not affiliated with GFC. Please see more information about our ticket

What is the cost for entry? 
Admission prices are:
Adults $14
Concession $10
Child (5-15) $7
Children under 5 are free.
Why is there a cost to enter? 
There are significant costs involved in operating a museum. Geelong Sports Museum have
set admission prices low and in line with similar attractions. Charging admission makes sure
the museum is available and sustainable for future generations to enjoy.
Where should I park? 
On non-major event days, free public parking is available within the Kardinia Park Precinct.
There is also limited street parking on sides streets on the Moorabool Street side of the
Stadium.
Limited accessible parking spaces are available outside the Brownlow Stand and
Premiership Stand on the western side of GMHBA Stadium.
Are their seniors prices? 
Concession prices apply to visitors who hold an Australian senior concession card.
How do I get there using public transportation? 
BUS
The bus network in Geelong is operated by CDC Geelong and McHarry’s Buslines. Visit the
Public Transport Victoria website to plan your journey.
TRAIN
Geelong is approximately one hour from Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station. South
Geelong Station is located a short 450-metre walk from the stadium.
Is there a cafe or restaurant onsite? 
There is no café or restaurant at Geelong Sports Museum. The closest café is Black Space
at GMHBA Stadium, approximately 100m from the Museum.
Do I have to purchase a ticket for my baby? 
Children under the age of 5 are free and do not need a ticket.
Will you extend your opening hours? 
We are a brand-new business and will take the first 6 months to get to know our visitors. We
will review our opening hours at the end of the year based on operations and feedback.
Do I qualify for a concession ticket? 
Concession applies to visitors who hold a valid concession card. To be eligible for a
concession ticket, valid identification and the relevant concession card must be provided.
These include –
- Australian senior concession card
- Australian Health Care Card
- Australian student card
- Carer Card
- Veterans Affairs Card
I have a Companion Card, what tickets should I buy? 
Companion Card holders may bring their attendant free of charge. Please select the
Companion Card ticket when booking online for companions. Please be ready to show your
Companion Card at the ticket desk in the Museum.
How do I present my ticket? 
We prefer paperless admission. Show your ticket on your mobile device or state the name
your booking is under to Museum staff. Alternatively, you may print your ticket at home, or
purchase your ticket upon arrival to the Museum.
I have booked a ticket but am unable to attend now, what should I do? 
All ticket purchases are non-refundable and are not able to be exchanged. Please speak to
Museum staff if you have a ticket and can no longer attend.
